Luxurious, personalized, ornate, mysterious, sophisticated, handcrafted, historic... shall I go on? These are just a few of the words that come to mind when I think about a Jewelry Box. We are the pharaohs who once ruled ancient Egypt to thank for the very early beginnings of this treasure chest and thank them I do, Thanks Pharaohs! Matter of fact some of the most AMAZING (and amazing is still an understatement at that) jewels/jewelry originated durning this time, but honestly that is and ENTIRELY separate post in itself, so stay tuned for that! 

A couture outfit is never complete without an adding your own flair of accessories, in this particular case, the pendant, each unique to itself is the piece of the day. The Pendant, historically coming a French word meaning hanging object, can serve many purposes. I feel that wearing a pendant is a fashionable way to express your personality! Be it your initials, your birthstone/zodiac sign








or whether you are just wanting to show off your religious beliefs


or maybe even your favorite hobby, there is a pendant out there just for you that possess the ability to match you and your individuality. Accessorizing any outfit by adorning a simple long chain with a chic pendant to rep and rock your MO!

A great example is the Pearl Pendant!


To me the pearl speaks softly for the mature woman/girl wearing the piece. It tells us that while she appreciates classic elegance her character still exudes great warmth and strength.

I myself am a fan of the Peace sign and in pendant form it is at its best!

Although it was originally designed for the British nuclear disarmament movement this little but powerful symbol is internationally recognized for peace and is a fav of mine!!! It brings to mind some of my fondest memories all in one way or another aligned with what peace is all about, while at the same time is a pendant I rock on a daily basis which I have to say is a self affirmation! Find your pendant or pendants that speak to you and rock them out loud!

I think my meaning of "essential" has become a bit convoluted and excessive over time, but when you really get down to the root, these words should bring to mind the following:   trend proof, flexible, & style saver.
